Gladys Demcsak Manz, 75
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Dec. 13 for Gladys Demcsak Manz in St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral, Metuchen.
Manz died Dec. 9 in JFK Medical Center , Edison , at age 75. Born in New Brunswick , she was a lifelong Metuchen resident.
She was a receptionist for the Diocese of Metuchen for five years before retiring. Prior to working for the diocese, she was an executive secretary at Mattel Toys.
Manz also served as a communicant of the St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral, a parish greeter and a member of the Council of Catholic Women.
She was predeceased by her husband, Louis T. Manz, who died in 1993. Manz is survived by her son, Thomas Louis Manz, and her daughter, Mary Beth Manz, who both reside in Metuchen.
Funeral arrangements were made by Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, Metuchen.
Burial was at Hillside Cemetery, Metuchen.
