A funeral Mass was celebrated June 29 for Marianites of the Holy Cross Sister Mary Matthew Kavanaugh.
Sister Mary Matthew died June 24 at the McAuley Hall Health Care Center, Watchung.
Born in Port Chester, N.Y., she was a religious educator in New York and New Jersey for many years before retiring to McAuley Hall.
Burial was at Our Lady of Princeton Cemetery, Princeton. Arrangements were made by Higgins Home for Funerals, Watchung.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Retirement Fund of the Marianites of the Holy Cross, 1011 Gallier St., New Orleans, LA 70117.
